Lot of TWO - "OBSESSION" Souvenir Program and Chicago Stagebill Playbill
This play with Basil Rathbone & Eugenie Leontovich was in Chicago for 4 weeks in 1946
My mother saw it on August 10 , 1946 and wrote the date in ink as well as the name of the guy who took her to this play and most likely purchased the souvenir program for her . These special souvenir programs for purchase are rare and hard to find unlike the playbills.  Of note is a signed in the art caricature of Basil Rathbone by famous hollywood artist John Decker on the reverse of the Souvenir Program (see photo)
There is also the matching playbill
The program is in nice vintage condition with the date in ink as I mentioned and a flaw - a nick in the middle (see extreme close up)
The playbill had been folded years ago but they smoothed out with age. There is also a small nick - it was placed inside the program and the nick went through - see my extreme close up.
