    Description

Up for auction we have a storage fresh time capsule 1968 Camaro nostalgia Pro Stock drag car. This car was originally a red with black interior 327 4spd car that was delivered to and bought from Byrne Bros Chevrolet it was street raced threwout Ny and Nj with a hot sbc and a strait cut gear M22. In 76 the owner of the car moved to Colorado and built the car into what you see today this car has been in storage since 1996 it is completly untouched how I found it. This car raced C modified and Pro stock across the country and was a multi class winner. A high end build for the day with some of the best parts at the time money could buy this was not a backyard built car the cage work is top notch for its time all the tin work and the small details like the tach hanging from the factory rear view mirrior mount the factory gauge bezels are flipped and blacked out to delete the original gauges lots of cool small details. The cage resembles a 25.5 with a halo and rocker bars. The car is mini tubed with a built none narrowed 12 bolt 5:13s spool Summers axles single leaf ladder bar stock untouched rear frame rails original quarters stretched 4 inches original trunk pan original floor pans and subframe with subframe connectors modded stock a arms anodized gold with aftermarket front brakes and spindles.Car is all steel with a glass hood and was painted by the legendary John Pugh. The wheels are Aero lites with 1 off directional rears. The motor is a tall deck 427/468 13:1 Cam dynamics solid roller with some trick internal parts worked 990 heads ported Team G 1150 dominator.Transmission is a glide with a brake built by A-1 who was the best in the industry at the time.
This car is extremely solid with some small pinholes in the trunk pan.
The vin is still intact but there is no firewall tag unless it is behind the aluminum cap.
Cars been 9'40s in its day.
It has been sitting in storage since 1996 and will need a full refresh the motor is tight from sitting I scoped all cylinders it looks great inside.
Old Pro stock cars or drag cars from this era untouched like this almost never come up for sale !!!
There is pictures from when it was a street car threwout its race career to current pictures from yesterday.
Don't bid on it for fun if you're not buying it dont bid !!
Any questions feel free to give me a call at 508-641-1958 thank you and happy bidding.
