1968 Dodge Charger. This special 1968 Dodge charger is being offered for your consideration at no reserve. This car was a RARE customer ordered car...A true 1 0f 1!!
* Unmolested, original Special ordered car with ALL matching numbers big block 383 ci.
* Radiator support and all body numbers match!
This car has been stored inside since 1984.It has the usual mopar rust at the sail panels and lower rockers but all frame rails and floors are solid. It will need a full resto unless you want to get it running and just drive it. It ran when parked and engine turns over by hand. Tires hold air and it rolls fine, but I assume needs brakes and will need to be trailered home.
WHAT IT NEEDS
It needs a front driver side fender and that's why it was originally parked in 1984 in a garage. Will need a trunk pan which is crusty. Will need lower quarters but FRAME RAILS, firewall, roof, doors, rockers, hood and floor pan are all solid.Needs grille which is buggered up on driver side and the bumper is dented. (See pics)
(This is where his son backed into it in the driveway and the original owner parked it in the garage while looking for a used fender. And there it sat until now…)
The car was ordered and is a NON-VINYL top car WITH rare cruise and a/c. If you want a solid, original matching numbers big block charger, this is it! Also has a Perfect wood grain steering wheel (0+ just for the steering wheel- if you can find one)Sold as is and where is with no warranties expressed or implied.
WHAT IT DOESN'T NEED
Someone who will butcher it up and resto-mod it, and not appreciate what an UNMOLESTED, all original car is. 0 deposit is due within 24 hrs of winning bid. Your bid is a contract. I encourage you to come inspect the car. I will hold for 30 days and expect cash balance on delivery of car and title.The car has the normal mopar rust issues but it's all sheet metal. The trunk lid is just surface scale.  All in all this is one of the better first year chargers I've seen. Hard to find an all original matching number customer ordered car with the rare color combo and options such as Power brakes, Cruise Control and Air Conditioning, and no vinyl top. When have you seen that in a big block Charger?!Please look at pictures closely and message me with questions. The car is in storage. These are all the pictures I have. Has clear title and original VIN and fender tag. I have not looked for the broadcast sheet but since the car has never been apart, I assume it's in there somewhere. Radiator support and trunk lip match. As do engine and transmission.The interior is all original. The odometer says 29,193. Don't know if that is accurate but I assume it's 129,193 original miles. *If you don't like the price, don't bid.
NOTE******* The starting bid on this car is fair and would be a steal given the work the others on eBay need****...But these cars are going up in value every day, especially for an original, unmolested car. Bid accordingly! I have described to the best of my ability, but condition is subjective to each individual.
