This is my 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona clone up for auction. I have enjoyed this car and truly do love it, but I have found another car I am pursuing, so it is expendable at this point. First off, it is originally a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 auto A/C car. I do not have the original fender tag or broadcast sheet for the car. It was professionally converted to a 1969 Daytona clone in the 1990's. The car is super clean TX sheet metal. The only metal replaced during its transformation was the lower quarter panels to accomodate the 1969 reflectors and the center trunk pan. All other metal is original and rock solid. The Daytona specific parts are from Winged Warriors and are fiberglass reproductions. These include the nosecone, wing, window plug, fender scoops, front underpan, latch tray etc....The car does have a correct NOS rear window. The body and paint is very nice and I would rate it a 7.5-8.0 /10. Interior is all new Legendary seat covers on 1969 bucket seats, new headrests, new upper door pads, carpet, headlinder, package tray, 1969 steering column with perfect woodgrain steering wheel....etc...It still retains its 1970 dash assembly and has a 1969 ignition located below the ashtray. The cars driveline consists of a nice running 383 4 bbl with a mild camshaft, headers, aluminum intake and electronic ignition. 727 torquflite trans thats shifts great. 8 3/4 rear axle with what I believe are 3;23 gears and a sure grip. $ wheel power disc brakes were added recently. The car also has power steering with the correct steering cooler.I also have a freshly built 440, TTI headers, exhaust and some other components that could be sold along with the car. I could go on and on about the car, but if you know what youre looking at...you probably get it. Any questions?
