B14A Socket with End-Cap & Voltage Divider KIT 14Pin PMT Photomultiplier Tube

Description

14 Pin Diheptal base Solder Tube Socket with Machined End-Cap and Voltage Divider KIT. Fits many 2" or 3" (50mm / 75mm) and larger Photomultiplier Tubes with standard 14 pin socket base. Ships with parts and instructions, including a wiring diagram to DIY build a 62 MegOhm 10-stage divider circuit and end-cap assembly. This kit includes an AMP (Amphenol) BNC connector.
These kits need soldering and assembly.
If you desire a different connector, or another value resistance circuit, just ask. Although these kits ship by default for wiring a standard 10-stage PMT (the most common), I can on request provide a similar kit for PMTs such as the Hammamatsu R1307 and R6233 which require alternate wiring scheme.
If you want to buy just the socket, a kit with socket and voltage divider only, or a fully built socket assembly, please see my other listings. These are good quality new sockets that have been resistance tested at high voltage. Beware of many similar sockets that have current leakage at high voltages. I thoroughly test each batch with a high voltage resistance tester (see last picture). These are great for Scintillation Counting and for Gamma Spectrometry.
