    Description

    This is the December 30, 1940 issue of the Maine Civic Theatre program.  They were producing the play "Love Rides the Rails" in Portland, Maine.  The program has 12 pages of information and local advertisements.  My favorite line is "Important Notice"  Men and women in the AUDIENCE will kindly refrain from cracking peanuts during the PERFORMANCE.  Gentlemen and ladies do not need to be thus cautioned."  Whew!  Worse than Please Silence Your Cellphones.  It is9 & 3/8" by 6 & 1/8" bound with staples.  It is in excellent condition.
