Incredible Two Circa 1929 Guide Books Zion, Bryce Grand Canyon National Parks.
For sale are two more pieces of ephemera from the amazing estate sale find that I have been listing from the couple who took an Amazing adventure from Marietta, Ohio, out through the great US in 1929. They saved everything and these are two more pieces of their incredible journey. For sale is a Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Utah, booklet and a Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon book published by the Union Pacific System. If you have followed any of my previous eBay posts, you know that I am currently listing an amazing cache of ephemera from an incredibly adventurous couple who took a road trip from Ohio to California via all of the western state parks in 1929. This two book group is from their trip to Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon. The red book is 10 inches by 6 3/4 and has 56 pages. There is some sort of illustration on every page, and many of them are in gorgeous color as I have shown. The smaller, yellow- colored book is from the United States Department of the Interior, and has 24 pages. It has tons of information and maps, but is not illustrated as the other one is. Now, they do show signs of wear as one would imagine from of this age. They are not in perfect condition, but are extremely well preserved, in my humble opinion, for something of this age. I just do not know where you will find a grouping of like this ever again! I was so incredibly thrilled to find this lot. I consider myself adventurous, and I travel to Europe quite a bit, but I just don’t know in 1929 if I would’ve had the hutzpah to embark on that journey.
