  • Condition: The poster is in good condition - the corners have minor bends - there is a light vertical crease through the middle - there is a 1" diagonal crease in the lower left hand corner - there is a 3/4" diagonal crease in the lower right hand corner - there is a light 3" diagonal bend in the upper left corner - there is a light 3-1/4" vertical crease along the left edge about halfway down and there is a 1" vertical crease two inches below that - there is a pinpoint dot along the upper left edge of the poster about three inches from the top - there is a 2" half-circular crease along the right side of the top edge - there is a light 1" crease along the right side, just about Santana's head - there are a couple light marks and a couple smaller creases.

    (Scroll down to see all 9 photos of the poster - click on a photo to get a closeup view) This auction is for an original concert poster for a Santana concert by Santana at the Uptown Theatre in Chicago on Thanksgiving, November 22, 1979. The poster measures 16" x 11" and is printed on a thin card stock paper. The poster reads "Jam Productions, Columbia Records, & the Loop FM 98 Invite You to An Evening With Santana - A Decade of Music - Thanksgiving - Nov. 22, 1979 8:00pm, Uptown Theatre, Chicago - Performing Music From the New Santana Album...Marathon". This poster would have been distributed to advertise the upcoming concert. (It is a little hard to get a perfect photo of the poster, since it has a somewhat reflective gold color on the front - so I've taken photos from a few angles. ) The poster is in good condition - the corners have minor bends - there is a light vertical crease through the middle - there is a 1" diagonal crease in the lower left hand corner - there is a 3/4" diagonal crease in the lower right hand corner - there is a light 3" diagonal bend in the upper left corner - there is a light 3-1/4" vertical crease along the left edge about halfway down and there is a 1" vertical crease two inches below that - there is a pinpoint dot along the upper left edge of the poster about three inches from the top - there is a 2" half-circular crease along the right side of the top edge - there is a light 1" crease along the right side, just about Santana's head - there are a couple light marks and a couple smaller creases.
