Hey all... welcome back! Well... welcome back to me anyway! It's been a long while since I've had time to come up with some new sales listings but trying to get some things going so let's see what I can pull out of the files...As has consistently been true, most of these prints are my only copies - if someone else scarfs it up, it's pretty unlikely that there will be another chance from me to pick one up. Once in a while, I may have an additional copy around - feel free to inquire - but more often than not this is it...
Artist:
Sean Carroll / Sandusky Bay Poster Works
Band: Reel Big Fish with The Kicks and The Starting Line
Date of performance(s): 10/2
Year: 2003
Venue: Odeon
City: Cleveland, OH
Process of creation: Screenprint
Signed/Numbered: No, but from a limited run of prints. This copy is signed by the artist and notated as an Artist's Proof (commonly referred to as an "AP").
Size (approximate - please write if you'd like to get detailed dimensions):
This does appear to be an untrimmed copy as well (making that assessment from the excessive white border on the left side of the print). Could reasonably be trimmed down for framing purposes if desired.
For those unfamiliar with it, Sean Carroll was/is a true DIY concert poster maker with nearly every one of his prints being produced in his own basement setup. He works on a variety of paper stocks, but many are very lightweight (or at least lighter than most used by high end print shops like D&L or DieselFuel) so be prepared/aware. This can result in some of his pieces have a bit of light handling wear (on edges or corners) or some light waves to the print due to layers of ink saturating the paper stock. This is all quite normal for his prints on the whole.
As I have done and will continue to do except in the cases of extremely particular and/or unique pieces, I am stating only a basic blanket statement regarding condition. ALL of these pieces are in generally very good to excellent shape. Most have no flaws whatsoever. Some may exhibit some light signs of handling such as a minor pressure mark in the border/edge area, light dinged/rounded corner, etc. If there is anything significant in terms of wear-n-tear it will be noted as such in the auction. If you have any question regarding a specific print or would just like me to do a detailed "once over" on a piece, please drop a line - the sooner in the auction the better so that I have time to respond (some people requested a detail on condition, but have asked with 4-6 hours remaining and I was unable to get back to them in time).
Shipping is in the US for Yazoo Mills tubed shipping (with craft paper) via USPS Priority Mail service with Insurance (to the value of the auction) and Delivery Confirmation. I am happy to ship multiple prints together and will do what I can to keep shipping costs down - buyer will ever pay only actual shipping (plus tube) costs. Normally this is only about or so per additional print, if that.
Canadian shipping is via USPS Priority International which will cost to Canada for (generally) faster shipping and Insurance to auction amount. Customs forms will be for price of the auction as well - buyer is responsible for any associated fees for the border crossing.
Worldwide shipping is available via USPS Priority International. I may make exceptions (at my own discretion) to this for those who have previously purchased from me but please contact me regarding that aspect prior to bidding. Priority service will be to Europe, Asia, and Australia/NZ. Again, customs forms will be for price of the auction as well - buyer is responsible for any associated fees for the border crossing.
My apologies for the cost of international shipping but there aren't many options. You can check/verify these actual costs on usps.com using their shipping calculator/estimator.
