BARREL IS MARKED " THE CONWAY STEWART N0. 217 "
Nib is marked " CONWAY STEWART 14 CT GOLD  "
There is no plate wear to any of the gold filled trim.
There are no cracks, nicks or breaks to the pen.
As seen in pictures the cap shows some distortion that does not effect the pen's color.
The cap bands are a little loose.
